On this page I’ll be taking you on the adventure my friends and I went on! This was our first chalet trip we went on together, we went about 1 hour up north to a small cottage for the 5 of us, me Livia, Jasmine, Jacob, Fred, and Liam. We have now made this a tradition to do after Christmas, to spend the holidays together, and during the end of the month of may to celebrate my birthday along with Jacob’s birthday (we are born 3 days apart). These trips are cherished memories for us where we spend time together watching movies, playing games, and cooking. With these trips we go on it forms our bonds deeper, helping out with cooking or baking, putting heads together for the planning and purchasing the food and drinks necessary, and finally being able to just chill with no parents and no need to rush our time. I like to capture these moments on an old digital camera I have. These pictures will live with us forever, even if these trips sadly come to an end. Since this first trip we have gone on one other one during the end of December to beginning of January with one coming up at the end of May of this year. To the right, you can see the video taken just minutes after we arrived at the chalet, the excitement is contagious, this trip was a trip to remember.
We went to a smaller chalet an hour up or so north, we went to 90 Mnt Lajeunesse on Val-des-Lacs. It was a beautiful home, in which we knew the owners. From the backyard we had a view of the mountains and a lovely stream pulling towards a river. The home had 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with a washer and dryer, we had a hottub, wifi and a fire place to use as we wished.
I went with my group of 4 other friends!: Jasmine: My best friend of 7 years, and honestly the glue that holds everything together. We met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. She's the warm, fun one you always want around, and the reason this trip actually came together, since she handled most of the planning! Jacob :Five years of friendship and this guy might as well be my twin brother, because in a way, he kind of is. We used this chalet trip as an excuse to celebrate our birthdays together, born just three days apart. Same energy, same chaos, wouldn't have it any other way. Fred: Five years of friendship and we've learned one thing above all else: always check if Fred is awake first. He's the resident nap champion of the group, but when he's up? Pure high energy and an absolute blast to be around. A man of two modes, and we love him for
