On the first day, we all met up before leaving so that we could pack the car together and get ready for the trip. Once everything was packed, we finally hit the road and began the drive to the cottage, which at the time was about 1 hour and 11 minutes long. Even though the drive was not too long, it was one of the most fun parts of the day because everyone was excited and full of energy. We spent the drive blasting music, singing along to songs, joking around, and laughing the entire way there. The atmosphere in the car was very lively and exciting, which made the trip feel even shorter. When we finally arrived at the cottage, everyone hurried inside to unpack their bags and organize all the food and drinks into the fridge and pantry. Once everything was settled and put away, we immediately started having fun together. We played games, talked, and spent time exploring the cottage while the boys entertained themselves with Nerf gun fights around the house. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, and the cottage quickly started to feel comfortable and welcoming. As the night went on, none of us wanted to go to sleep because we were all having such a good time together. We stayed awake until the early hours of the morning, probably around 3 or 4 a.m., talking, playing games, joking around, and laughing nonstop. Even though we were all exhausted by the end of the night, it was one of the most memorable parts of the trip because everyone was together and enjoying each other’s company.
